“Racial Turnout Gap” - Brennan Center for Justice

Kneeon brought me on to animate a project for the Brennan Center for Justice, in collaboration with designer Elena Chudoba. The video highlighted the widening racial turnout gap, focusing on how the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was weakened by the Supreme Court in 2013, leading to new voting barriers for people of color.

Using a collage-style animation with archival photos, voting pamphlets, and ephemera, we created long-form videos in both English and Spanish, along with shorter versions for social media, Hulu, and Univision. The goal was to raise awareness and advocate for legislative change.
